It's always so exciting when a close friend adopts a puppy or a kitty. You get all the bonuses of snuggling and petting their new fur baby while they do the work of house-training them and teaching them not to claw the furniture. On August 7 Olivia showed the sweet way how she welcomed her bestie's adorable new kitten.

Awwwww, this kitten wearing this cute sweater is just so precious. Olivia said she crocheted it because little Prue shivers.

It's so great that Prue and Olivia are getting this baby used to wearing sweaters at a young age, because a cat is more likely to be okay with wearing clothing if they are used to wearing items from the time they are a kitten. Sure, there's really no need for a kitten or cat to wear clothing, their fur keeps them warm enough, but a lot of owners enjoy dressing up their feline friends.

If you would like to be the best kitten auntie (or uncle) you can find many free cat sweater tutorials online.

According to Hillspet, all cats shiver from time to time, and kittens may have difficulty regulating their body temperature. Fear could be another reason, and we all know that very small kittens can be fearful until they get used to their new pet parent. If your cat is shivering coupled with a change in appetite, sleeping patterns, vocalization, or if they have stinky breath or excess salivation you should check with your veterinarian to make sure there are no underlying health issues.
